Brentwood and Discovery Bay Real Estate October 2009 Housing Statistics

The average list price for the same month was about $314,982. The average sales price for October ‘09 was close to $321,439. The separation between the list price and the actual sales price produced a 100% price difference ratio.

In terms of real estate financing we saw around 53 conventional loans with an average home price of $354,577. Conventional deals in October ‘09 were reported as staying on the market for around 42 days. For FHA financed deals there were 25 loans with an average home price of $292,382. FHA homes stayed on the market for an average of 30 days. We saw 18 cash financed homes in Brentwood with an average home price of $274,178. Cash deals were reported as closing in about 25 days.

The consensus at Sacramento was that more time is needed to consider all the possible actions for what’s to happen next with the Delta. In all Sacramento handed down five new water bills that would create a number of different agencies who will decide what will happen to the Delta.
